Aesthetic Surgery is mostly considered a “want” rather than a “need”. This means that Medical Aid companies actively exclude this type of surgery from coverage.

At my current setting, I negotiate rates with other service providers, such as the hospital and the anaesthetist. These service providers bill by procedure time, rather than by procedural fee, however, in the interest of transparency and for comparative reasons, I will provide patients with an inclusive fee. This means that I will bear the risk of excess time, rather than passing this on to the patients ad hoc. This means that a fixed price can be settled on before the surgery. In general, multiple procedures performed at the same time will have modest discount when compared to the additive sum of each individual procedure.

In the spirit of the present ethical rules on touting, I cannot publish aesthetic fees online. Feel free to contact me for a ballpark estimate. Please note that formal quotations are only possible after an in-person consultation.
